A gorilla permit is a document/card issued by the Uganda Wildlife Authority in Uganda to enable you trek mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable national Park or the Mgahinga National Park. A permit allows you to view gorillas for only one hour but the trekking itself can take a minimum of 30 minutes or up to nine hours while looking for gorillas in the forest. It costs USD 600 per day per person.
