A gorilla permit is a document/card issued by the Uganda Wildlife Authority in Uganda to enable you trek mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable national Park or the Mgahinga National Park. A permit allows you to view gorillas for only one hour but the trekking itself can take a minimum of 30 minutes or up to nine hours while looking for gorillas in the forest. It costs USD 600 per day per person for high season and or USD450.00 per permit in Low season months of April, May and November.
